Got the carne asada plate, the carnitas plate, and horchatas. The portion sizes were huge! The carnitas and carne asada were cooked well and the horchata sweetness was just right. The place was super cute too. They have free tortillas or soemthing on the weekends I think where they cook fresh tortilla on the grill in the dining area. 10/10 recommend.

A green lake establishment! We came for lunch on a Saturday and there was pretty good business. It's a huge space, so even though there were many parties it didn't seem crowded at all. We ordered the carnitas plate and enchiladas verdes with chicken. The carnitas plate comes with homemade tortillas from their tortillaria and with all the fixings, including a generous amount of guac! I also liked that the carnitas were extra crispy. The enchiladas plate was less memorable but still good and no complaints. The inside is a little dark / dingy which is my biggest complaint.

This was the best Mexican food I've had in Seattle! It's hard to come by in the PNW. I liked that they had a huge menu, too. Enjoyed our fajitas, steak was well seasoned and tender. They were accommodating of dietary restrictions. Beans and salsa also good. They're quite busy on the weekends and might have a wait time for larger parties.

We came here on a Friday night after looking for any food in the area. It was pretty lively, and there were a good number of customers inside. We were able to get seated right away as a party of 6 though, which was great. The complementary chips and salsa are unlimited and great - the chips are a good thickness and crunchiness, and the salsas are really fresh as well. They kept coming back and refilling it for us which was super nice. I got the chicken tortilla soup as my main entree, which was good but nothing special. The chunks of avocado inside were a little weird to me, but the chicken and tortilla strips were good. This spot does the job, but it wasn't anything too special.

Great place. Service was great and so was the food. Watched Seahawks game at the bar side but they have family friendly section as well. We ordered combination, tortilla soup and large nachos. Once you seat they serve with salsa and guacamole with some chips.

Loved this place! Have been meaning to try it! Food is delish, good price and huge portions! Recommend sharing :) We came here on a whim last night - I'd been craving Mexican and forgot it was so close! We had the pork and rice with tortillas and share guacamole too. They come with tortilla chips and salsa to start you off then we ordered our food and drinks. The service was super fast and everything was great! The vibe is super chill - nothing fancy but good food and quick service. Ill definitely be coming back! Love the homemade tortillas!

House made tortillas? Warm chips with refills? How can you say no to these and more that greet you when you sit down for a meal at Rosita's? This place is a perfect place to stop after a walk or activity at Greenlake as it will definitely fill you up to the brim. Portions are huge--definitely 2 meals worth. Service was fast and attentive as our water was always filled, someone was always nearby in case we needed anything and could grab their attention, and chips were refilled without being asked. Most entrees you can choose the protein with cheese being one of the vegetarian options.

We came in yesterday for lunch. Saturday at noon was great-we were seated right away and enjoyed their chips and salsa. I was impressed by how quickly we were served-we had our entrees within 10 minutes of ordering. I enjoyed my avocado tostado with chicken (I asked for no cheese). My friend enjoyed her enchilada. The portion sizes were perfect-we had just enough to feel satisfied and their flavor was on point. The Avocado Tostada tasted very fresh. Rositas is a tried and true old favorite-their flavors are nostalgic and bring me back to my childhood while staying refreshing and nurturing at the same time. I loved it.
